Our History

River City Accounting has come from very humble beginnings. 

In 1999, the founder of River City Accounting, John Leask, realised an opportunity for specialised accounting and bookkeeping services tailored towards the travel industry.

In 2010, River City Accounting became a partnership between John Leask and Sandra Rhodes. Sandra had been working for John for several years whilst conducting her own bookkeeping business.

In 2018, River City Accounting welcomed another co-owner to the business, Jodie Clarke. 
Jodie was working for several small bookkeeping firms and was also a co-owner of another small business with her husband.
Jodie had been working alongside John when she was asked to join forces and become a co-owner in River City Accounting.

Our Vision

Our vision is to provide a personalised and professional service to small business’ throughout Australia.

With extensive experience in specialised accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, Quickbooks and Travelport’s CrossCheck Travel, you can rest assured that we have the knowledge needed to keep your books in order.

The security of your financial records and information is our highest priority, which is why we do everything in-house. We don’t outsource any tasks to 3rd parties.
